It has come to our attention that Oracle by default no longer includes JavaFX (that we use to display the visuals) in the Java 8 runtime from update 451 (and later). This may cause the bot to not start as an invisible error will be thrown when trying to start the application.
As a workaround while we look for a permanent solution, we suggest that you downgrade to Java 8 Update 441.
To do so:
- Uninstall Java 8 from your PC
- Install Java 8 Update 441 from here
If any more issues arise, please create a ticket.
Update 24/11:
We are now testing another version of Java created by another vendor, that still includes Javafx and also provides the normal Java security updates.
You can test it out yourself:
- Uninstall Java 8
- Install Azul Javafx: https://www.azul.com/downloads/?version=...dk-fx#zulu
- Please provide us with feedback on the forum if you find any issues
